Lip Products Wishlist

Since today I forgot to prepare the pictures for this post, I’m writing a completely random and unplanned one!

It is a lip products wishlist, more or less.
Just a series of lipsticks, lipstains and similar that I’d like to try as soon as possible.

MAC Lipmix(15$)

Perhaps not as famous as the lipsticks from this brand, the endless combination are quite inspiring to me. And they cost even less than the actual lipsticks!

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet (35$)

Partly because of the alluring name, partly because I want to try some Chanel product so bad, they would be my first choice.

Matte, long lasting and not excessively drying: heaven.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (25$)

Another matte heaven, but with a different shape. Every time I walk into Sephora I feel the extreme desire to buy them, but they’re not exactly cheap and affordable.

Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain (14$)

Lip stains are my newest obsession, and I own only one of them!
The comfort of being sure that you’re lips won’t fade away is something extremely valuable.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture – Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain (35$)
What magic is that? A stain with a glossy finish? How on earth haven’t I heard of this miracle before a quick research through Sephora’s pages?
I want it. I don’t even know if it’s sold in Italy, but I want it.

Monday Breakfast #1

New title for something already known: my Motivation Monday post, the starting point of an endless week.

Why Monday Breakfast?
Because breakfast is the most important meal of the day, of course. And on Monday morning everyone should fine five minutes more to enjoy that precious time.
Maybe those five minutes can be spent reading the good proposition of a twenty-one years-old student with a chaotic life!

Recently I’ve been surrounded by things to do.
I’m preparing a huge surprise for my loved one, an Advent Calendar, and it’s an exhausting venture. Do you know how hard it is to prepare 24 little presents and a big other one for a single person? It’s emptying me little by little of all the cute ideas I had, they’re not enough!

I’m even starting to think of my third-year dissertation – the first step towards becoming a teacher!
And three exams to be prepared during the semester break… It’s exhausting!

But it’s Monday!
The sky is supposed to be blue even this week – hopefully – and perhaps I’ll have more time for myself.

Let’s start this week awesomely and enjoy every minute of it!

Weekly Favourites ♥ 1

Lately my skin has been so kind to me not to explode in any strange episode of extreme redness or wild red spots all around my face. I’m really thankful, skin. You shall be rewarded.
This meant that I had to put little effort on my foundation in the morning.

I simply used Kiko Full Coverage Concealer (7.50€ on Kiko)to cover up the dark circles and the redness around my nose, caused by the cold morning weather.

Then I highlighted my cheekbones with Illamasqua Gleam in Supernatural(20£ on Illamasqua), a very natural colour, not to bronze-y on a skin like mine, that isn’t -luckily- exaggeratedly pale.

Eyes-wise I used every single day Urban Decay Naked Basics 1(29$ on Sephora, 27€), the perfect palette, the one and only, which allows me to have an incredible smoky make up, and adds the perfect colour for eyelining (yes, Crave, I’m talking about you).

The last touch is given by NYC Big Bold Mascara in Extra Black(2.99€ on NYC).  My eyelashes aren’t really long, or curved, or voluminous. They are brunette, straight and boring. This mascara can help the curve to hold up until I remove the eye make up. It’s the perfect mascara.

And that’s what I loved the most during this week!
What are your make up staples?

Nivea Micellar Water

I have two basic staples at night: removing my make up and applying a hydrating cream. When I do these two steps, my skin gets immediately better, fresher and more relaxed.

I remove my eye make up with Nivea Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water. I found it in an Italian drugstore, but it can be found almost everywhere (here’s the link to Boots).

What can I say about the first eye make up remover that doesn’t make my eyes look like two fire balls?
I tried a couple of them, but the result was always the same: itchy eyes and desire to throw them in the toilet and flush them away.

But with this micellar water it’s all different: my eyes get easily cleansed and there’s no oily film left on them. It’s pretty impressive how fast it is to remove mascara and eyeliner with it, just a single cotton pad and the work is done.

Here’s the INCI.

It should work even with face make up, but I prefer to use another cleanser, because my skin is not so sensitive.

If you find it, don’t miss the chance to buy it!
Mine is almost over, so I’m going to buy it again. Do you have any other micellar water to suggest me?
